¶ 1. Daniel Childers filed suit in the Circuit Court of Tippah County for negligence and gross negligence. After holding a writ of inquiry, the circuit court entered a default judgment in favor of Childers in the amount of $250,000. Tippah County filed a motion to set aside the default judgment, and the circuit court denied the motion.
