¶ 1. This appeal stems from the conviction in the Jackson County Circuit Court of June Allen Starr, Sr.,1 for aggravated domestic assault. He was sentenced to serve twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Starr appeals, arguing that his Fifth Amendment rights were violated when police officers proceeded with a custodial interrogation having not obtained a Miranda
