¶ 1. A Clarke County jury convicted Shawn Michael Singleton of robbery and the capital murder of Elmer "Shubbie" Dobbins. The circuit court judge sentenced Singleton to life imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) without eligibility for parole.
