¶ 1. Ray Cullens was indicted by a Lee County grand jury on July 19, 2005, for the kidnapping and aggravated assault of Jesus Rodriguez. After a jury trial in the Lee County Circuit Court, Cullens was convicted of both crimes. He was sentenced to serve twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections on each count, with five years suspended, and the sentences to be served concurrently.
