¶ 1. Larry Carey was convicted of one count of armed robbery by the Tunica County Circuit Court on April 6, 2006. He was sentenced to life imprisonment as a habitual offender in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Aggrieved, Carey appeals, asserting that: (1) the trial court erred by denying his motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and (2) the trial court's sentence of life imprisonment was improper....
