¶ 1. Joe Louis Brooks appeals his conviction in the Lauderdale County Circuit Court for felony driving under the influence (DUI). After being indicted by a Lauderdale County grand jury, Brooks was tried by a jury and convicted of driving under the influence. Brooks had two prior DUI convictions within five years of the latest charge. After conviction, Brooks was sentenced as a habitual offender, having had two previous felony convictions...
