Floyd Steven Wiedner ("Wiedner") brought this action in the Circuit Court of Jackson County ("trial court") against his former employer, Ferrellgas, Inc. ("Ferrellgas") alleging violations of the Missouri Human Rights Act ("MHRA"). Based on the terms of Wiedner's employment agreement, the trial court stayed the proceedings and compelled arbitration.
