I. Introduction and Procedural History

In January 2001, a jury found Terrance Anderson guilty of two counts of first degree murder for killing Debbie and Stephen Rainwater. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole for the murder of Stephen and sentenced to death for the murder of Debbie. Those convictions and sentences were affirmed by this Court in State v. Anderson, 79 S.W.3d 420
