The Bank of New York (N.Y.) appeals the trial court's judgment compensating Urban Renewal of K.C. (Urban) for rehabilitating its property. Urban obtained temporary possession of the property through a court order. NY sought the restoration of the possession of its property, and Urban sought ownership of NY's property. The trial court restored the property to N.Y. on the condition that it reimburses Urban for its rehabilitation expenses...
