Four years ago, William Barnslater went into his former girlfriend's house uninvited and accosted her male friend. Barnslater was then charged with and pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary, and the district court sentenced him to prison but stayed the sentence conditioned on probation terms. Barnslater violated those terms and the district court executed his sentence, ordering him to prison...
