Respondent Daniel Brian Dalbec was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.344, subd. 1(d) (2010). At Dalbec's bench trial, counsel for the State and Dalbec agreed to submit written closing arguments to the trial court.
