In 2004, appellant Nancy Sitek, a vendee on a contract for deed, defaulted. Michael Striker, the vendor on the contract for deed, served a notice of cancellation. Approximately one month later, Striker filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Sitek argues that the bankruptcy proceedings voided the notice of cancellation and prejudiced her ability to exercise her statutory rights to cure the default or enjoin...
