Defendant was charged with the manufacture of less than 5 kilograms or fewer than 20 plants of marijuana, MCL 333.7401(2)(d)(iii), after the police discovered marijuana plants under a grow light in a bedroom closet in defendant's home. The police entered defendant's house without a warrant on the basis of a discussion with one of defendant's neighbors who was worried about his well-being, along with other circumstantial evidence that suggested...
