I. FACTS AND PROCEEDINGS

Evidence showed that while defendant taught at Seventh-Day Adventist School in Onaway, he sexually molested a student, TJ, over a three-year period. Attorney Richard Steiger represented defendant at his preliminary examination. Before trial, Steiger accepted employment in the Presque Isle County prosecutor's office.
