[¶ 1] Pursuant to 15 M.R.S. § 2115-A(2) (2013), the State appeals from a judgment of acquittal entered by the trial court (Anderson, J.) in favor of Michael W. Chapman, following a trial at which a jury found Chapman guilty of one count each of arson (Class A), 17-A M.R.S. § 802(1)(A) (2013), burglary (Class C), 17-A M.R.S. § 401(1)(A) (2013), aggravated criminal mischief (Class C), 17-A M.R.S.
