[¶ 1] The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) appeals from a judgment entered in the District Court (Portland, Eggert, J.) modifying a child support order of the Family Law Magistrate (Najarian, M.). DHHS asserts that (A) the District Court erred in crediting toward Jack Hawk's support obligation the dependent benefit his daughter receives based on his Social Security retirement account, and (B) the magistrate did not abuse her...
