It would be a non-sequitur to insist on a speedy trial if one were incompetent to stand trial at all, speedily or otherwise. On the other hand, should the incompetency lapse, the entitlement to a speedy trial would concomitantly revive, but on a new and inevitably altered calendar. Its latter...
