Respondent, James Earl Goldsberry, Jr., was tried before a jury in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County and convicted of second degree felony murder, conspiracy to commit second degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence.
