We are approaching an infinite number of cases applying and/or interpreting Maryland Rule 4-215 (or its predecessors) governing waiver of counsel. Although it was observed early-on, regarding a predecessor version of Rule 4-215, that "[t]he wording of the Rule is so simple and plain that no elaboration thereof is necessary or desirable.... [t]he Rule means just what it says....[,]" Williams v. State, 220 Md. 180
