Frederick Troy Smith ("Frederick") and Sandra Smith ("Sandra") were married on September 15, 1966. Forty-one years later, on October 15, 2007, Sandra filed a complaint for divorce against Frederick in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County. Frederick responded by filing a cross-complaint for divorce against his spouse.
