We decide in this case whether a confession that Respondent Terris Terrell Luckett gave to the police complied with the dictates of Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436, 86 S.Ct. 1602, 16 L.Ed.2d 694 (1966). The Circuit Court for Prince George's County ruled that the police did not comply with the requirement of Miranda that a suspect be properly advised of the right to counsel that attends custodial interrogation...
