Michael Andrew Nelson, appellant, pro se, has noted an appeal from the denial of his motion to correct an illegal sentence. In particular, in 2002 appellant was sentenced by the Circuit Court for Washington County to an enhanced penalty of 25 years without parole, pursuant to Article 27, § 286(d) of the Maryland Code (1996 Repl.Vol., 2001 Supp.).1 He contends here, as he did below, that he was illegally sentenced...
