Kellie McCullough, the estranged wife of Andre Jerome Elliott, appellant, suffered multiple stab wounds when she was attacked by appellant on February 5, 2006. Mr. Elliott was subsequently indicted on a variety of charges, including attempted first-degree murder of Ms. McCullough.
