In an incident that occurred on November 29, 2005, Omar Parker, appellant,1 threatened Kya Hicks with a gun. Appellant was arrested on February 17, 2006, with respect to that incident. Following a trial in May 2007, a jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City convicted Parker of second-degree assault, in violation of Md.Code (2002 Repl.Vol., 2005 Supp.), § 3-203 of the Criminal Law Article ("C.L."), and retaliation...
