We are asked to decide whether the holder of an equitable interest in real property may sue for partition or sale in lieu of partition of that parcel of property under section 14-107(a) of the Real Property Article of the Maryland Code ("RP") (1974, 2003 Repl.Vol.). Georgia Triantis, appellant, claims that she has an equitable interest in a forty-acre parcel of property that is jointly titled in the names of her former husband, Ottis Gus Triantis...
