HOLLANDER, Judge.
Ronald Sparkman, appellant, was charged with the murder of Ralph "Wes" Pritchett, who was shot to death in Baltimore City on January 14, 2005. Following a trial in May 2007, a jury sitting in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City convicted Sparkman of first-degree murder, as well as use of a handgun in a crime of violence, and wearing or carrying a handgun.
