This case involves an alleged slip and fall accident that occurred on June 7, 2003, at the medical office of Raymond O. Nwadiuko, M.D., appellee. On April 26, 2006, Twanda Richardson and her husband, Larry Richardson, appellants, filed a two-count complaint in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, alleging that appellee was negligent. On October 22, 2007, appellee filed a motion for summary judgment, contending that Mrs. Richardson
