Owners of property in the Charles Village area of Baltimore City are subject to a Supplemental Tax in addition to the property tax that the City imposes on all property owners, although it is not imposed on property that is otherwise exempt under Section 6-8(a)(2) of Article XIV of the Baltimore City Code or by any act of the General Assembly, such as property used for charitable, educational or religious purposes.
