After a bench trial in the South Boston Division of the Boston Municipal Court Department, the defendant, Peter Damelio, was acquitted of possession with intent to distribute a class D substance and a school zone violation, but convicted of the lesser included offense of possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, a class D substance.
