After a jury trial in Superior Court, the defendant was convicted of enticement of a child under age sixteen, G. L. c. 265, § 26C; attempted rape of a child, G. L. c. 265, § 23; and attempted indecent assault and battery on a child under age fourteen, G. L. c. 265, § 13B.
