A Superior Court jury found the defendant, Obdulio Santana, guilty of one count of breaking and entering a residence during the daytime with the intent to commit a felony and with the resulting infliction of fear upon a lawful occupant. G. L. c. 266, § 17. On appeal he argues that the Commonwealth failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he intended to cause fear to the occupant.
