After a jury trial in Superior Court, the defendant was convicted of four counts of forcible rape of a child (G. L. c. 265, § 22A). The Commonwealth concedes that there were several violations of the first complaint doctrine at trial. The defendant objected to some of the errors, but not to others. The question we face is whether the combination of preserved and unpreserved errors requires a new trial...
