A five-month-old infant with a rare, undiagnosed autoimmune condition suffered an acute, rapid onset of symptoms while in the pediatrician's office. He was transported by ambulance to the emergency room and was then admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where hours later he tragically died from autoimmune hemolytic anemia....
