This is a criminal case. Defendants, Kendall Barnes and Derrick Groves (collectively, "Defendants"), appeal their convictions and sentences for second degree murder and attempted second degree murder. Additionally, Defendant Barnes appeals his two convictions and sentences for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. For the following reasons, we vacate Defendants' convictions for second degree murder and attempted second degree murder and remand for further proceedings...
