Defendant, Ronald Olivier (hereinafter "Mr. Olivier"), was convicted of second degree murder in 1993, when he was a juvenile, and sentenced to life imprisonment, without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. Mr. Olivier appealed and his conviction and sentence were affirmed by this Court in 1994.
