Defendant-appellant, Janet Leland, appeals from the confirmation of a default judgment awarding damages and ordering her to return a certain Boston Terrier to plaintiff-appellee, Kiley Wolfe. For the following reasons, we vacate the judgment confirming the default and remand for further proceedings.
