According to the bill of information, on or about June 5, 2012, the defendant, Waylon P. Sauls, II, "committed aggravated burglary of the dwelling ... committing a battery upon any person while in such a place, or in entering or leaving such place[.]" Additionally, the bill of information charges that on or about June 5, 2012, the defendant "did knowingly and intentionally possess a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance...
