The defendant, Thomas A. McCartney, appeals the trial court's judgment granting sole custody to the plaintiff, Dacia R. McCartney.1 For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

In October 2011, Thomas was sentenced to serve ten years at hard labor for aggravated rape by engaging in oral sexual intercourse. He is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2021. Thomas had been on probation...
