The defendant, Jeffery Broussard, Jr., was accused of committing the armed robberies of two retail stores in Bastrop in which two victims were present at each store. Following a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty as charged of four counts of armed robbery and four counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
