On March 31, 2014, the Orleans Parish Juvenile Court adjudicated R.P. delinquent for the illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile in violation of La. R.S. 14:95.8. R.P. was sentenced to the Department of Public Safety and Corrections for six months. Three months of the sentence was suspended, and R.P. was given credit for time served.
