Pursuant to a plea agreement providing for a sentencing cap of 30 years, the defendant, Michael Allen Lewis, pled guilty to aggravated burglary and entered an Alford1 plea to sexual battery. The trial court sentenced him to 30 years at hard labor on the aggravated burglary conviction and seven years at hard labor, without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence...
