In this appeal, the appellant, 330 Magazine Street, L.L.C. ("330 Magazine"), seeks the costs associated with the purchase and redemption of a litigious right. Because we find 330 Magazine's arguments contrary to the law, we affirm the judgment below.

On 20 August 2009, St. James Hotel, L.L.C. ("St. James") executed a promissory note in the amount of $4,864,446.02 in favor of Regions Bank ("Regions").1
