Defendant, Byron Ross, appeals his convictions for armed robbery with a firearm and attempted second-degree murder, claiming that the trial judge imposed unconstitutionally excessive sentences in light of defendant's extensive history of mental illness and substance abuse issues. For the following reasons, we affirm defendant's convictions and sentences.
