Monica and Garret Haab (the "Haabs") appeal from a summary judgment dismissing with prejudice their suit against Jefferson Parish and several of its departments and employees. The Haabs allege in their suit that they suffered the loss of their personal property when, during Hurricane Gustav, the defendants did not promptly respond to a fire at the house where the Haabs were residing. For the following reasons, we affirm that judgment.
