GARRETT, J.

The defendant, Joshua D. Brooks, was convicted by a jury of second degree murder in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. He was sentenced to serve 60 years at hard labor without benefit of parole. The defendant appeals his conviction, challenging the sufficiency of the evidence. We affirm the defendant's conviction and sentence.
