The defendant was convicted of illegal possession of stolen things valued $1,500.00 or more. Thereafter, the trial court sentenced the defendant to ten years at hard labor, ordered that the defendant pay restitution to the victim, and imposed various fees and costs. The defendant appeals. We affirm the defendant's conviction, vacate his sentence, and remand for resentencing in conformity with this opinion.
