This suit was filed by homeowners Robert Peck, Jr. and Misty B. Peck against general contractor Richmar Construction, Inc. (Richmar) for alleged defects in the slab and foundation of their home under the New Home Warranty Act, La. R.S. 9:3141 et seq. Richmar filed a third party demand against two of its subcontractors, together with their respective insurers.
