Following his conviction for possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (CDS), cocaine, in excess of 28 grams but less than 200 grams, the defendant, Anthony Mark Mandigo, was adjudicated a third felony offender and sentenced to 40 years at hard labor, with the first five years to be served without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. The trial court ordered that the sentence be served concurrently with two other sentences...
