The plaintiff in this matter alleged that she seriously injured herself as the result of slipping on an unknown substance at a Popeye's restaurant. The defendants filed a motion for summary judgment, contending that the plaintiff would not be able to meet her burden of proof with regard to actual or constructive notice of any defect on the part of the defendants.
