The plaintiff, Melba Margaret Schwegmann Brown, appeals the trial court's judgment granting an exception of peremption1 in favor of the defendants, Schonekas, Winsberg, Evans & McGoey, L.L.C., Kyle Schonekas, Mark D. Winsberg, and Elisa Mills (collectively, "Defendant Attorneys"), finding that her claim for malpractice had been perempted. For the following reasons, we affirm the trial court's judgment.
